Focus & Contributions:
The focus of research in the Motor Learning and Rehabilitation Engineering Lab is to understand the process of motor learning, and how it can be applied to accelerate skill acquisition and for the rehabilitation of movement disorders. My current contribution towards this lab’s mission is investigating human abilities research and how this can be used to predict and impact future skill acquisition and performance.

Summary:
My past work here has focused on the investigation of subjective and objective measures of (dance) performance using biomechanical analysis techniques and the investigation of gaze data during obstacle negotiation; leading to various poster presentations at local chapters of American College of Sports Medicine & American Society of Biomechanics. This has also led to the piloting of the current GOLD Lab’s research slate and to publication credits on some of their works. This was done in tandem with the completion of my research work during my Master’s.
